the Wet Room

The Spa at Blackstone Hotsprings is now open for walk-in bathers and tours from noon until 6:00pm each day.

Walk-in soaks are often available between 6:00pm and 10:00pm each evening. Please call 575-894-0894 to check availability before coming after hours.

We do not open for walk-in bathers until noon each day.


The downtown area of Truth or Consequences was originally called Hot Springs, New Mexico because downtown actually floats on top of a huge hot spring.

Our natural spring water comes from the ground at the perfect temperature for bathing. And while it includes a high mineral concentration, our water is crystal clear and it has no unpleasant odor.

The Spa at Blackstone Hotsprings offers mineral baths to both lodging guests and day-use guests.

The temperature of the mineral water in the Wet Room ranges between 102 and 106 degrees.

Rate:
$25 per hour (Walk-ins between noon and 6:00, two people)
$25 per day (upgrade for lodging guest)
$50 per hour (scheduled, two people -- extra persons add $10 each)

Historic Tubs

Historic Tubs
Original 1930's tubs

The Blackstone's Historic Tubs have our hottest water, directly from the hot spring at between 110 and 112 degrees. Cold water is also provided if you would like a cooler bath.

Your historic tub fills from a waterfall made with native stones, and soft lighting provides the perfect atmosphere for a peaceful soak. A window in each tub room keeps you well-ventilated during your bath.

Our Historic Tubs were originally built in the 1930's, and during renovation we found evidence of 10 tubs in the original bathhouse. We were able to preserve four of the original tubs in the building, two of which we offer as Historic Tubs in the public bathhouse.

Each Historic Tub has been fully renovated with new tile and soft lighting.

Rate:
$5 per 1/2 hour (Walk-ins between noon and 6:00pm)
(All rates include a towel.)
