Will be returning My wife and I booked a 3 night stay in the Star Trek room. The desk attendant mentioned "fans" and we replied "Yes, very much so!" The room is on the Austin street side, but there was never a sound of traffic. The room is air conditioned by thermostat, which is important for a stay in August. The in-room hot springs tub is a gem! Have a soak ANY time you want. Yes, it's large enough for two. 😉 Parking is next to the property, plus more across the street. Our interactions with staff were always pleasant and informative. If you're looking for a place to stay close to downtown TorC, this is it! Everything is within walking distance. We packed our own food for the stay, thanks to the refrigerator and microwave in the room. We basically only left the room to pick up a couple of things at Walmart and go to breakfast once at Johnny B's. There's a very nice courtyard between the two buildings. There is even a covered patio table outside the Star Trek room. Special touches: the towels and provided robes are luxurious! The light switches all have a dimmer function, so lighting can be adjusted to personal preference. We WILL be returning when the weather is a bit cooler.

Perfect vacation weekend I will start off with saying 5 stars is not enough. This was the most perfect vacation weekend I have ever had. The staff is exceptional. The grounds are immaculate and I LOVE the coconut tree. The room was perfect. We did a 4 day weekend in the Star Trek room. We are HUGE fans. We even managed to find an episode of TOS on and watched it. The music choice channel that was on when we arrived pretty much stayed on. We enjoyed multiple soaks in our private tub. We chose to pack in food for the weekend and everything fit in the fridge and was easily cooked in the microwave. They provide plates, cups, bowls, silverware, ice and coffee! The property is so quiet we did not even realize we had neighbors! One drawback to the Star Trek room is no dresser for clothes. We packed very light so everything fit in the bathroom drawers. Great towels, the robes are cozy and we had a covered picnic table right outside our room. Next stay is I Dream of Jeannie. Luxury all the way. We did not try the public tubs or the wet room.

I've tried to experience other places, but there is nothing like Blackstone. The rooms are fabulous and my favorite thing ever is having a private giant tub to soak in. The outdoor public ones are cool, but I enjoy the privacy of one in your room.If you want just a soak for the day, HIGHLY recommend the private tub/sauna whatever it's called place. $75 for an hour of absolute BLISS. Not a fan of the 2 night min. required after covid, but I get it. I just feel like one night is plenty of time to soak and enjoy.

Staff were very friendly and very helpful. Checking in and out was very simple and I loved that. Rooms were good in space and the personal spring in the rooms makes it so cool. Will definitely be back again soon

We’ve stayed at several hot springs hotels in T or C and this has been our favorite! Loved the private hot spring bath in the rooms (we stayed in Route 66 this time, Roy Rogers room in the past), the quiet location, and the decor, landscaping and sense of privacy. Very friendly and hospitable owners/staff.We had brunch one day at the Turtleback Mountain Golf Resort based in a recommendation from the staff at Blackstone - great suggestion! Also numerous cafes, restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance of Blackstone that we enjoyed…be sure to check the hours as some close around 6:00pm or are not open on certain days (eg, M).

This place is such a gem! We stayed in 2 different rooms and each one was unique and special. The beds were sooo comfy, the hot springs tubs in the room made for an amazing anniversary getaway and the town is quirky and unique and so fun to explore. See you again soon!
