Will be returning My wife and I booked a 3 night stay in the Star Trek room. The desk attendant mentioned "fans" and we replied "Yes, very much so!" The room is on the Austin street side, but there was never a sound of traffic. The room is air conditioned by thermostat, which is important for a stay in August. The in-room hot springs tub is a gem! Have a soak ANY time you want. Yes, it's large enough for two. 😉 Parking is next to the property, plus more across the street. Our interactions with staff were always pleasant and informative. If you're looking for a place to stay close to downtown TorC, this is it! Everything is within walking distance. We packed our own food for the stay, thanks to the refrigerator and microwave in the room. We basically only left the room to pick up a couple of things at Walmart and go to breakfast once at Johnny B's. There's a very nice courtyard between the two buildings. There is even a covered patio table outside the Star Trek room. Special touches: the towels and provided robes are luxurious! The light switches all have a dimmer function, so lighting can be adjusted to personal preference. We WILL be returning when the weather is a bit cooler.

Couldn’t have been happier Absolutely loved my trip to blackstone hotsprings. My boyfriend and i stayed in the lone ranger for 2 nights and couldn’t have been happier with accommodations. Our room had private outdoor hotspring which was huge and separate indoor shower. It was more like a small apartment than a room and clean and convenient to everything. Staff was friendly and courteous and let us soak for free in one of the springs across the street (in my opinion these were warmer) as it was my boyfriend’s birthday. I’ll definitely be back!

The bed was AMAZING! Self check in was nice. We were in the golden girls suite. So the bed was AMAZING!!! Linens were soft and clean and the 6 pillows were great. Room was clean and pretty big. Kitchen offers a fridge, small sink, coffee pot and coffee, microwave, silverware, plates and cups for two. Bowls are very very small so we ended up buying paper ones from the dollar general. Soaking in the tub was awesome and quite easy. Warning if you soak it ends up heating the main room up also so if you go in the winter it should help. Took an hour or so to get back to a cool temp one night. The private porch area was huge and very hot in the afternoon since it faces south. Mornings were perfect though.Outside of the hotel- meander through the downtown, check out some shops. Hit the brewery after 12. There is really not much else to do so bring a book or three because the city does not offer much but it was very peaceful and do offer some nice views.

I Dream of Jeannie We stayed in one of the newer rooms, I Dream of Jeannie. It was very clean, tastefully decorated, with comfortable bed and linens. The private hot tub in the private patio was perfect for soaking. The booking process is a little different, also no refunds on any cancellation, no matter how far in advance you cancel, only a credit towards your next stay.
